- Provides case management to a group of patients providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management and acts as a patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Provides efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during the clinic sessions, attends the clinics where scheduled and is dependable. Able to manage a number of patients at the same time with high energy and organization.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers, wound care center Physicians, Program Director and Medical Director, regarding clinic and patient needs.
- May be required to attend 40 hr approved Hyperbaric Safety Course and act as interim chamber operator if coverage is necessary.
- Will maintain appropriate competencies to fulfill requirements of Hyperbaric chamber operator, if necessary.

ResponsibilitiesThe Wound Care Nurse is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center.
These include, but are not limited to, utilization skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.

Education and Experience:
Vocational diploma Diploma minimum requirement And Over 1 year to 3 years Wound care nursing experience required Licenses and Certifications:Licensed Practical Nurse in PA - Licensed, Upon hire, requiredWound Care Certification , Upon hire, preferredBasic Life Support (BLS), within 2 weeks, required
