About the RoleIn this position, you will support a continuous improvement culture that will maximize capabilities and efficiencies in our distribution centers.

You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Think Big as you develop, implement, maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and property maintenance.

You will identify and effectively troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems while making sound decisions to effectively eliminate downtime.

What You'll DoIdentify and troubleshoot solutions that impact facility product flowPerform all major repairs/tasks using shop equipment:
band saw, Arc and Mig welders, Torch, Hydraulic Press, drill press, lift equipment etc.
Function as a lead technician in the absence of the Maintenance SupervisorSubject matter expert of all DC technology, systems, and process flowsMaintain and troubleshoot all HVAC equipment in the facilityPerform all conveyor, forklift and electrical maintenanceListen and ask questions to solicit feedback to understand needs and provide serviceWho You AreStrong technical knowledge of MHE, electrical (PLC) and automation in a distribution center environmentAbility to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross functional teamStrong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills inclusive of exercising good judgementCapable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
