    • PM Warehouse/Delivery Supervisor: 10:00AM start
    • AM Warehouse Supervisor: 6:00AM start

    ROLE SUMMARY

    If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement-oriented, fast-paced role in a world-class wholesaler environment then our Operations Supervisor role is for you. In this role, you will develop, monitor, and maintain operational procedures to ensure excellent process performance and quality while supervising and empowering warehouse employees. This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives, build relationships and influencing skills as well as technical skills while learning the ins and outs of wholesaler operations.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage day-to-day production of Delivery or Warehouse operations of 25+ Delivery employees or 10+ Warehouse employees
    • Lead, motivate, and develop department personnel including selection, performance management, and employee relations
    • Enforce and promote safe working practices
    • Plan, direct and schedule all manpower and equipment needs to meet daily operational requirements
    • 70% computer/desk work; 30% warehouse/trade visits with staff
    • Labor contract administration
    • Supervise receiving over-the-road loads from Anheuser-Busch and other breweries
    • Track and analyze operation efficiency measures
    • Manage, coach and develop a team to meet operational KPI/PI's
    • Update templates and communication tools (including Weekly Trackers, Inventory tracking, and Meeting Decks) to provide routine visibility of operational performance
    • Lead process improvement, identify/implement Best Practices and initiate change
    • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees and managers
    • Physically perform and lead the morning inventory count process.
    • Identify the root cause of inventory count variances and put action plans in place through problem solving tools to improve the Inventory Accuracy KPI
    • Reduce Supply Chain Overheads through the utilization of problem solving tools.
    • Track, trend and manage repacking operation to conform to quality standards and to improve repacking productivity
    • Develop and continuously validate SOP's through management routines and tools and ensure understanding by all warehouse employees
    • Team rooms managed and updated through routine meetings to solve problems and drive performance
    • Use problem solving tools e.g. 5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPLs, RACI's, OWD's, PDCA's, etc. to develop action plans to show improvement on PI's and KPI's
    • Cascade KPI's and PI's to individual warehouse employee level, calendarize the KPI/PI achievements and monitor individual target

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or GED required (no degree required for any position within AB ONE Wholesalers)
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability and willingness to adjust schedule as necessary to handle business needs, such as holiday weeks, weekends, or alarm coverage. Operation is 24 hours; shift assignment may vary
    • Ability to facilitate projects amongst diverse teams and proven ability to gain results
    • Understanding of local, state, and federal liquor laws as well as Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations preferred
    • Two years of warehouse, delivery, or sales experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the computer skills to learn new and more advanced programs, such as routing software
    • Knowledge of Labor Relations / experience in Union environment preferred
    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job and knowledge to safely operate job-related equipment (e.g., hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)
    • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other Management Systems a plus
