Job Description

Daily Thermetrics seeks a Technology Advisor/Sales Engineer to join our Outside Sales team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role will increase market share by meeting with customers, generating leads, driving sales, and providing technical support.

The successful candidate will work closely with inside sales, engineering groups, and field services to ensure accurate quotes meet customer project needs. Traveling to assigned territory, meeting with customers, leading technical presentations, and managing orders are key responsibilities.

Assigned sales region: Corpus Christi, TX, USA

Key Responsibilities:

Meet directly with oil refineries, petrochemical/chemical plants, industrial plants, and local engineering firms in the assigned area
Manage assigned territory through direct sales
Actively seek and manage sales opportunities in the region
Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Grow market share in the assigned territory

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field preferred
Strong technical problem-solving skills required
Excellent technical communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong attention to detail in a dynamic environment
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Building rapport with customers, sales order management, excellent customer service, project management, strong technical math skills, presentation and public speaking abilities, critical thinking skills, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Other:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer other than current employer
Must be fluent in English with ability to communicate highly technical terms/ideas; any other language skills beneficial
