    Insight Global is looking for a Liquids Asset Accountant for a Midstream Oil & Gas Client. This individual will support the accounting needs for the NGL assets.

    They will be responsible for monitoring the CTRM system, RightAngle, and ensuring all data input for the various assets is accurate and correctly reflected in the margin book.

    The month end responsibilities include entering journal entries, preparing margins for assets, reviewing and verifying revenue & volumes, ISOM allocation using data from different systems, invoicing for Mont Belvieu Caverns and ISOMs, and estimating inventory gains and losses.

    Mid-month responsibilities will include account reconciliation, government reporting of inventories, monthly and quarterly reports, settlement of inventory gains/losses, and contract review.

    This position will be downtown and onsite 5 days a week.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 5 years accounting experience focused on monthly closing
    Experience with regular closing process, journal entries, manual invoicing, accounts receivable, margins

    Familiarity with any financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, RightAngle)

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFS, v lookups)

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Natural gas liquids (NGL) experience preferred
