- Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction project management, including direct responsibility for all resource allocation and management involved in projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Proficient in project management software programs.
- Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
- Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
- Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Experience in managing electrical and mechanical aspects of construction projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
