Principal Android Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead and propose strategic innovations for the development of the system software stack and ecosystem.
• Lead the design of high-level system architecture for the next generation of Android and mobile devices.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leaders and product managers to translate market demands into product roadmaps and solutions.
• Conduct in-depth technical analyses and trend studies in the mobile product and system software industry.technical analyses and trend s
• Assess and innovate new technologies and designs to ensure optimal user experience for end products.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in architecting Android-based products with a proven track record.
• Senior-level expertise in Android-based system software stack, spanning from application and framework to kernel, drivers, and firmware.
• Profound understanding of consumer product use cases and user experiences.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-geographical teams within a multicultural and multinational environment.
• Strong soft skills encompassing technology acumen, system abstraction, and technical communication.
• Enthusiastic about driving innovation in new technologies and making significant industry impact.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, professional, and a collaborative team player.

Requirements:

• Preferably hold an MS or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• Possess 10+ years of experience in Android platform, system software, and smart devices.
• Have at least 5 years of experience as a system architect in products utilizing the Android platform.
• Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
