    is searching for a VP of Engineering and Site Lead to build and lead our engineering team in Latin America.

    You will report to our global Chief Technology Officer. As a key member of our Engineering Leadership Team, you'll establish our engineering presence in Latin America, including attracting, hiring, managing and retaining top technical talent. You will serve as the regional leader and key decision maker for operational matters.

    Key Outcomes:

  • Create a strategic recruiting vision to attract outstanding engineering talent to build 's presence in Latin America.
  • Provide strong mentorship and guidance to individual contributors, managers and managers of managers.
  • Collaborate with our global leadership and CTO on technical strategic decisions.
  • Provide regional leadership and be the key decision maker for office/site operations.

    Key Skills & Capabilities:

  • Entrepreneurial Site building - Capability to serve as the founder of a new engineering team based in Latin America that can scale to dozens of engineers in the first 1-2 years
  • Planning & Execution - Extensive experience in planning and executing ideas to support system operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership & Strategy - Experience in creating team goals that align with organization vision and goals.
  • Business Alignment - Capable of connecting technical/engineering goals to business outcomes.
  • Communication - A clear, proactive, and effective communicator who starts conversations that solve problems collaboratively.

    Target Experience:

  • Prior experience in country, regional, and/or site leadership
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 6+ years of experience as a people manager, including experience managing managers
  • Proven results attracting, hiring and retaining a high performing technical team
