- Assembly of different industrial equipment (Flaking Mills, Roller Mills, Pellet Mills, Crumblers, Horizontal Coolers, Gyro Sifters, Screw Feeders, Shredders, Scales, Gladiators and Conditioners)
- Operates heavy mechanical process equipment, hand tools, power tools, jib and overhead cranes
- Follow production schedule and meet production and quality goals
- Perform root cause identification and corrections as necessary.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment.
- Comply with CPM safety policy
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2+ years of work experience in an industrial environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and mechanical blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- High attention to detail & good communication skills
- Good math skills and the ability to convert from English to Metric units
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations as they apply to an industrial facility
- Possess a sense of urgency and maturity to get the job done
- Transmission Assembly experience
- Electrical Wiring experience
- Weld (MIG & TIG)
- Forklift, jib and overhead crane experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous improvement.
