    Description

    Do you consider yourself a dynamic leader with excellent business abilities who enjoys taking on new challenges? Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events.

    We need someone willing to be the brand's voice and manage the marketing budget to produce property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral that will generate revenue and meet property targets.

    • Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans
    • Recruit, train, and develop your team to serve your customers better
    • Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand
    • Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance
    • Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationshipsQualifications
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Marketing expertise and knowledge of sales department best practices are needed for this position
    • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • High diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree preferably in marketing or hospitality
    • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role
