    Description
    Summary You will serve as the Head of the China Lake Test Management Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

    Responsibilities You will is be responsible for continuously improving customer products and services across all range operations by applying effective technical, business, and management practices.

    You will be responsible for planning and directing the workload on the China Lake Ranges, including the Supersonic Naval Ordnance Research Track (SNORT), and Superior Valley training range, Kinetic Weapons, UAV, and EW Test and Training events.

    You will to manage and direct range test operations through applied knowledge of air-to-air, surface-to-surface, air-to-surface, and surface-to-air warfare areas.

    You will track and manage DPA resources, multiple customer funding documents, budget projections, and have command oversite of Range Scheduling.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Leading projects related to weapons systems and platforms; 2) Planning Test and Evaluation events; 3) Assisting with scheduling and dictating test resources based on requirements; 4) Performing work involving range operations, range safety, ordnance safety, and/or environmental policies.
