    Opportunity:

    Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

    Job Details:


    • Work four 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM

    • 40 hours per week position with 13-week assignment

    • On-call required: one night during the week (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and every 4th weekend

    • Weekend call: Friday 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Saturday 24-hour call, Sunday 24-hour call until Monday 7:00 AM

    • Must be able to scrub for procedures - this is mandatory

    • Perform as first assist to physicians including panning the table and moving the camera

    • Scrub experience required for Left and Right Heart Cath, Coronary Intervention, Peripheral procedures, and PE Thrombectomy

    • Work with Phillips X-Ray equipment and document in GE MacLab system

    • Use Cerner and Mac Lab computer systems (experience preferred but not required if can scrub)

    • ARRT certification required

    • Minimum 2 years of experience required

    • First time travel candidates accepted

    • Must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract

    • Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually (4-6 hours average)

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular interventional services. The facility utilizes modern equipment including Phillips X-Ray systems and maintains electronic documentation systems for optimal patient care. The cath lab performs a full range of cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, coronary interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures, requiring skilled technologists who can function as scrub technicians and first assists to physicians.
