is seeking an Engineering Aide 3 in Simpsonville, SC . The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting engineering activities in developing and improving processes related to cable harness and integrated assemblies

The Engineering Technician will work with teams inside and outside the engineering group to ensure a product is defined and a manufacturing process is delivered that meets and exceeds cost, quality, and schedule requirements.

Support new programs/products through production and ensure the product meets cost, delivery, and customer/internal specifications requirements including coordinating efforts with product, manufacturing, and quality engineering.

Build fixtures, tools, and aids to support manufacturing processes and improvements.
Develop, design, acquire, or create new equipment for improved productivity, efficiency, and safety.
Create & maintain items in the ERP system including the bill of materials, routings, and item settings.

Planning & Organizing:

Develops realistic work plans, sets goals, and aligns personal plans/goals with company goals Manages time well and effectively, including personal attendance and on-time performance.

This position requires an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of work experience in a related field.

Ability to create and maintain engineering drawings using Autocad and Solidworks
Experience working with engineering teams
Fluent with desktop computers and ability to use Microsoft Office with proficiency
Working knowledge of cable and harness assemblies
Experience with using power tools for wood and metalworking
Experience with 3D printing
