    Description

    SUMMARY

    :

    Provide Industrial Engineering support to Manufacturing and Process Engineering in various Fab process areas in an ISO compliant, class 10 Semiconductor Fabrication Facility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze Production tools and processes and develop accurate capacity models.
  • Analyze Production data using various data sources primarily through SQL queries and reports.
  • Build and maintain accurate capacity models for production processes using established SQL databases.
  • Participate in a cross functional team where your responsibility is to ensure the capacity needed is understood and in place on the production floor.
  • Use standard software applications (MS Office, Tableau) for creating reports and documenting procedures.
  • Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the factory reporting and scheduling software (FPS).
  • Participate as needed in the training of Fab operators and others.
  • Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
  • Work overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the job.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Able to function in a clean room to make direct manufacturing observations as needed.
  • Must have some computer data analysis experience (Oracle, SQL, Advanced Excel Macros programming), Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET) or Business Object reporting
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a cross functional environment
  • Must be well organized and have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, company policies and have excellent time management and organization skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software
  • Experience with the concepts and practices of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
