    Overview

    The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York City Health + Hospitals/ South Brooklyn Health (formerly Coney Island Hospital) is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a full-time Gynecologic Oncology Attending.The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

    Responsibilities
    • Direct gynecologic oncologic care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases
    • Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques
    • Support and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical cases
    • Experience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies
    • Supervision and teaching to residents and medical students
    • Ambulatory and inpatient duties
    Qualifications
    • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Board Certified or Eligible in Gynecology Oncology
    • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
    • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population a must
