    The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, seeks full-time Assistant Professors to join an established group of nationally known gastroenterologists. Appointees will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities at our Hyde Park campus and at our network and affiliate sites. Other duties include clinical research and the teaching and supervision of trainees and students. We especially welcome applicants with prior experience in the development and growth of a GI clinical program such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Motility, General GI, Celiac, etc. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

    Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
