    Our client is an established automotive manufacturer. They seek a Manufacturing Engineer due to growth and expansion, this role will report into their Engineering Manager and support production. Our client is an established Tier I manufactuer serving the automotive industry. They are known for their culture, training program and comprehensive benefits.

    Job Description

  • Analyze layouts of equipment, workflow, and assembly needs to devise methods to maximize efficiency
  • Prepare design (hand and CAD) sketches and blueprints of machinery, fixtures, and layouts
  • Calculate and analyze lead, takt, and cycle times to optimize production
  • Process equipment evaluation, specifications, procurement, and implementation
  • Coordinate with production personnel, vendors, and external contractors to implement process improvements (Kaizens)
  • Complete supporting documentation, such as poka-yoke, changeover procedures, and welding conditions

    The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ year's of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in automotive manufacturing, specifically in stamping processes, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and experience with production management systems (e.g., ERP software)
  • Structured problem solving experience (5 Why's, 8D) What's on Offer
