- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (classroom instruction)
- Saturdays: Clinical instruction (schedule and timeframes determined by assigned clinical site; daytime hours)
- Sundays: Skills Lab instruction from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Serve as the lead for current part-time CNA instructors, providing coordination, guidance, and support to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across program delivery.
- Teaching responsibilities for this position will be limited to a supplemental capacity, as needed, to support program continuity, coverage, or operational needs.
- Plan, coordinate, develop, CNA program, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations and program standards.
- Oversee all licensure, certification, and regulatory compliance related to CNA/HHA and other assigned healthcare workforce programs.
- Supervise part-time instructors and clinical staff to ensure consistent instructional quality and adherence to college and state policies.
- Explore opportunity to develop and deliver continuing education and customized training for nurses and healthcare professionals, aligned with regional workforce and employer needs.
- Maintain and strengthen partnerships with clinical sites, employers, and healthcare organizations; coordinate placements and ensure responsive program design.
- Build and lead a CNA/HHA Advisory Committee to assess curriculum relevance and industry alignment.
- Advise and support students from enrollment through certification and employment, including mentoring and career pathway navigation.
- Lead all grant-funded program activities, including planning, implementation, compliance, milestone tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Track student enrollment, persistence, completion, credential attainment, and employment outcomes using Salesforce and other college data systems; prepare required monthly, quarterly, and annual grant and performance reports.
- Serve as liaison with funders, employer partners, and community stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, outcome verification, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the development of new grant proposals by providing program design input, outcome data, enrollment projections, and workforce impact narratives.
- Participate in professional development and remain current in nursing education and workforce trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Experience supervising faculty or managing academic programs.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts DPH CNA program requirements and state certification processes.
- Two years of nursing experience with at least one year in a Level II or III long-term care facility.
- One year of teaching or staff development experience in a healthcare education setting (e.g., instructor, in-service coordinator, or staff educator).
- Demonstrated skill in curriculum design, lesson planning, and student evaluation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting high standards of care and professional ethics in nursing education.
- Knowledge of local health and business communities and potential employment market for CNA graduates.
- Commitment to promoting equitable, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.
- No allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation found valid in an any MA facility or program found valid under MGL Chapter 111 §72F-72L.
- No allegations of Medicare or Medicaid fraud.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience designing and teaching continuing education for nurses or healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated experience managing grant-funded workforce or healthcare training programs, including compliance, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Experience using CRM, student information, or grant tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce) to monitor enrollment, outcomes, employer engagement, and funder reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting grant development, including data collection, outcome reporting, and preparation of program narratives and metrics.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining strong partnerships with healthcare employers and organizations, including active engagement with clinical partners, advisory boards, and industry stakeholders.
- Familiarity with community college mission, values, and noncredit-to-credit pathways.
- Ability to meet challenges of adult students with diverse backgrounds.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Coordinator/Instructor will oversee all aspects of the CNA and Home Health Aide (HHA) programs at Cape Cod Community College. This full-time position combines leadership, instructional, and program development responsibilities to ensure high-quality workforce training in healthcare. The Coordinator/Instructor will plan, implement, and evaluate CNA/HHA training in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations, while building pathways for students pursuing careers in healthcare. In addition, this position will design and deliver continuing education courses for healthcare professionals, particularly those serving long-term care and Outer and Lower Cape healthcare employers.
The position will liaise with the Allied Health Sciences area to stay informed of healthcare trends, workforce needs, and industry updates, while maintaining primary reporting responsibility within the Center for Community and Professional Education (CCAPE). The successful candidate will be a passionate and experienced nursing professional committed to excellence in workforce education, student success, and community engagement.
This position follows a set schedule aligned with the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program delivery model. The standard schedule includes:
The schedule will not exceed five (5) consecutive days within a seven (7) day period and is subject to change based on program needs, clinical site availability, and enrollment.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: Full-time MCCC Unit Position; Grade 5 - Senior Special Programs Coordinator with an anticipated annual salary range of $72,265 - $82,472. Actual salary will be consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option for membership in the Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
