Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Forklift Operator/ Yard laborer in partnership with a premier employer within the Lumber Industry in Owego, NY.

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm

Job responsibilities will include:

Loading and Unloading tractor trailers (Skid Steer / Forklift)
Used fork lift to to transport materials off of line.
Moving material around the lumber yard
Material separation and pulling lumber from the lines
Stack lumber on kiln carts from a conveyor

Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:

High School Diploma/GED
Stand 8+ hours a day
Lift 50 pounds frequently
Excavator operations experience is not required, but a plus.
Must be able to work in warm temperatures during the summer and 50-60-degree weather during the winter
