    Description

    Elf Cafe is looking for a Front of House Manager / Head Server to join our team and contribute to the growth of our staff. This role involves overseeing the quality, innovation, brand commitment, and financial success of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will lead, educate, coach, and guide the front-of-house team, making decisions that enhance the business's financial well-being while upholding our organizational culture and policies. This position entails managing people, staff training, creative input, and financial accountability in equal measure.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure security measures for door locks, cash handling, and banking procedures
    • Manage inventory, nightly reports, and guest feedback
    • Supervise scheduling and training activities
    • Report to the Operational Director and Proprietors

    Nightly tasks include:

    • Organize guest seating, menus, and customer communications
    • Assign employee duties, conduct pre-shift meetings, and handle guest feedback
    • Fill in for absent staff due to illness or vacation

    Administrative and Leadership responsibilities:

    • Maintain venue organization and standards
    • Assist with nightly floor plans and manage dietary requirements
    • Coordinate order preparations and oversee inventory tracking
    • Take part in team training sessions and drills
