Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Visualization Engineer with a strong focus on to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to develop metrics and analytical approaches, creating innovative solutions through effective data visualization, and maintaining high standards in software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design front-end applications using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and sitemaps to communicate design components.
- Implement data visualization solutions using and other JavaScript libraries.
- Collaborate with internal customers to establish requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Build visual interfaces, shared visualization components, and custom visualizations that provide interactive visual insights to users.
- Guide principles for data visualization across all interfaces and tools built.
- Be a proactive partner to stakeholders, exploring new technologies, and jumping into ETL when necessary.
- Commit to disciplined software engineering practices like TDD, code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, production-ready code.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, User Experience, Informatics or a similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization and analytics with specific focus on tools like
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of visual composition and visualizations.
- Experience with backend technologies and web servers.
- Familiarity with UI/UX concepts and web application development.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards.
- Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Salary Range: $100k - $160k base salary based on knowledge and years of experience.
