As Supervisor, Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Unit, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily operations, supporting the team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our pediatric patients.

Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Manage daily operations of the outpatient unit, including scheduling, prioritization, and workflow management.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
Act as a clinical resource, providing guidance and hands-on support to staff.
Cross-train team members to ensure competency across all functions within the unit.
KEY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
Experience leading high-performing teamsStrong clinical background (5+ years) in hematology/oncology, preferably pediatricDesire to maintain bedside skills and cross-train to all functionsGood communication and collaboration skills
POSITION DETAILS:
Scheduled Monday Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift to support clinic operationsOn-call rotation shared with the manager for after hours and weekendLocated at the Rady Childrens Main Campus in San Diego,
CAMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's DegreeCalifornia RN License3 Years of ExperienceBasic Life Support (BLS)for Healthcare Providers, issued by the American Heart AssocationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider, issued by the American Heart Association
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree5 Years of ExperienceBilingual in SpanishThe expected hiring range for this position is $61.30 to $84.29Rady Childrens Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
