Job Summary:
Pullman Regional Hospital's Family Medicine Residency Center is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician interested in a collaborative, team-based teaching and practice environment.
The ideal candidate must be licensed as an MD or DO in the state of Washington, board certified with 3-5 years of experience.
This position involves working closely with the clinic, Pullman Regional Hospital, and the medical community as part of an accountable care organization.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about community engagement and willing to contribute to community outreach education for the newly established practice and residency program.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to preventative care, community health, and providing quality care to patients of diverse socio-economic backgrounds typically seen in a rural university community.
In this role, there is an opportunity to serve as core faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Pullman alongside the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University.
You will work with a team of three physician residents and two attending physicians, with three additional physician residents joining each year for a three-year program. Teamwork, learning, and community involvement are highly valued in this practice.
Pullman Regional Hospital is an independent, critical access, not-for-profit public hospital district. Situated near the Idaho border, the hospital and clinics cater to residents of Washington and Idaho, including students, faculty, and sports fans from Washington State University and the University of Idaho.
Our facility, established in 2005, offers inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services, as well as various independent medical practices.
The clinics cover specialties such as cardiology, family medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, psychiatry, sleep medicine, urology, and surgery/endoscopy.
We collaborate with Inland Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Clinic and Palouse Specialty Physicians to provide orthopedic, sports medicine, and other specialized care to the community.
Through partnerships with area hospitals, Gritman Medical Center, and Whitman Hospital & Medical Center, we offer services in ENT, Audiology, Neurology, and Oncology.
Qualifications:
Education/Training: Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician
Experience: 3-5 years working in a family practice clinic. Preferably experienced in a residency program or teaching medical students and resident physicians.
License/Registration: Must hold licensure as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in Washington.
Population Served: Infants, Children, Young Adults, Middle Age, and Elderly.
