    Gasoline Equipment is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving the petroleum industry since 1940. As we expand our construction, service, and EV charging departments, we are seeking a forward-thinking Master Electrician to join our team and help us exceed our customers' expectations.

    Position Overview: As a Master Electrician at Gasoline Equipment, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing our current construction and service projects and helping prepare and promote our new Electric Vehicle charging station program. Including electrical projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. You will coordinate installations, troubleshoot electrical systems, and provide technical expertise in electrical design and maintenance. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maximize sales of EV charging stations and ancillary services.
    • Ensure timely and persuasive responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to maximize the likelihood of awards.
    • Incorporate offerings from utilities, government agencies, and program sponsors into proposals for prospective customers.
    • Collaborate with federal and state agencies, investor-owned utilities, public power agencies, industry associations, and municipal authorities to build awareness of Gasoline Equipment Service's technical product reliability and effectiveness.
    • Represent Gasoline Equipment at industry events.
    • Take a lead role in planning, organizing, and executing electrical projects.
    • Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
    • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors in electrical design and planning.
    • Promote a culture of safety and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.
    • Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
    • Evaluate existing electrical systems for upgrades and energy-saving measures.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems and prepare reports.
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Valid Master Electrician license/certification
    • Explosion-proof electrical experience preferred
    • Direct knowledge of electric vehicle charging is preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel
    • Ability to work independently and maintain relationships
    • Extensive experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings
    • Familiarity with electrical design software and tools
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
    • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and conditions
