The Corporate Tax Manager will lead federal state and international tax compliance and reporting for a growing financial services organization.This role will oversee ASC 740 income tax accounting manage complex tax filings ensure accurate information reporting 1099/1042 and support cross-border tax matters.
Tax Accounting Reporting ASC 740 / IFRS / US GAAP Lead quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 including deferred tax calculations uncertain tax positions and valuation allowances Prepare and review tax footnotes and disclosures for financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS Partner with Finance on forecasting annual audits monthly close activities Federal State Local Tax Compliance Oversee preparation review of federal state incometax returns estimated payments extensions Ensure compliance Internal Revenue Code IRC state regulations Manage nexus analysis apportionment planning to support business growth Information Reporting W-8 W-9 Oversee annual reporting determine proper withholding documentation International Tax Support international planning global structuring transfer pricing documentation transactions Monitor evolving OECD transparency regulations affecting financial services
Tax Audits Research Manage IRS state foreign audits prepare responses supporting analyses Conduct technical research related new regulations emerging issues firm-specific matters Advise leadership implications transactions products initiatives Process Improvement Controls Enhance processes system workflows improve accuracy efficiency Mentor junior staff collaborate Accounting Treasury Operations Qualifications Bachelor s degree Accounting Finance related field Master s inTax CPA strongly preferred Years progressive corporate experience preferably finance public accounting Strong knowledge ASC USGAAP IRFC Experience W-8/W-9 documentation concepts Excellent analytical communication skills Ability multiple deadlines dynamic fast-paced environment
