El Chef de Producción es responsable de la supervisión, preparación y cocción de alimentos en un entorno institucional. Asiste al Jefe de Cocina en la planificación y creación de menús diarios y su preparación y decoración.
Fundamentos del Cargo:
+ Ayuda al Jefe de Cocina a controlar los costos y gastos para el cliente
+ Ayuda al Jefe de Cocina a planificar y crear menús
+ Producir y ejecutar eventos de catering
+ Implementa nuevos programas culinarios en conjunto con la empresa de marketing y equipo culinario
Cualificaciones Preferidas:
+ Título universitario en Artes Culinarias o certificado culinario y experiencia requerida
+ Experiencia progresiva en cocina/kapitalización de restaurantes, dependiendo del título formal o capacitación
+ Experiencia en catering - beneficioso
+ Experiencia en operaciones alimenticias de alto volumen y complejo - altamente deseable
+ Experiencia en cocción institucional y en lotes - ayudoso
+ Conocimientos completos de tendencias alimentarias y catering con un enfoque en calidad, producción, higiene, control de costos de alimentos y presentación
+ Debe tener experiencia con computadoras; incluyendo Microsoft Office (Word, Excel y PowerPoint), Outlook, correo electrónico e Internet
+ Debe estar dispuesto a participar en programas y actividades de satisfacción de pacientes
