DeliManager - Pay based onexperience
Describedbelow are the major duties and responsibilities of a DeliManager:Schedulesall departmental associates, oversees their training, evaluatestheir work, rewards and recognizes their performance and delegatestheir work assignments in a manner that most effectively utilizestheir talents and abilities while maximizingprofitsDevelopsand implements merchandising plans, including creating attractivedisplays, merchandises new items, sales items and does promotionaltie-ins, in order to meet the sales and profit objectives of thestore and the departmentResponsiblefor proper inventory levels, prepares, maintains and tracks recordsto calculate gross profits according to companyguidelinesControlsdepartment costs by monitoring and improving operations andpractices as needed, by controlling labor and by reducing lossesdue to shrinkage and pilferageMaintainsaccurate department records on all important matters, includingassociate performance, recognition anddiscipline
Requirements

• Knowledge of all aspects of Delioperations
• Proven skills in taking appropriate and decisive action to meetbudget expectations
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights andweekends
• Excellent communicate skills with vendors, customers andemployees
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40lbs
• 1 year minimum experience as a manager in foodservice
• Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral andwritten), good leadership and interpersonalskills.
• The ability to get along with customers, vendors, suppliers andassociates, and must be able to motivate and leadothers

Workenvironment: Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, includingexposure to cooler and freezer
