    Minimum of 18 months recent permanent CVOR Tech experience prior to travel is required. Must have scrub experience with open heart / CVOR procedures. Active Ohio license required at time of submission (compact accepted for eligible start dates). One recent supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in CVOR is mandatory. Must be able to take weekday call (1–2 weeks) and one full weekend of 24-hour call every 6 weeks. Required to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation. COVID and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only). Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

    Description

    The CVOR Tech supports complex cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment.

    This role functions as a scrub tech, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

    The position follows a 4x10-hour day shift schedule with scheduled on-call responsibilities and requires strong technical skill, clinical judgment, and the ability to perform under pressure in emergent situations.
