Production (Food) Supervisor, Rotational Shift1st Shift: 2nd Shift: September - March (4:00pm - 2:00am), 10% shift premium while on 2nd shift
($75,000 - $95,000 with a $2,000 Signing Bonus)
At EW Grobbel, we have been proudly delivering high quality food for 140 years.
We're looking for a highly skilled Production Supervisor that will be responsible for managing production employees in a fast-paced, high volume, non-union, manufacturing environment.
You will lead a team to identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs).Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant production operations, supervision, employee development, and progressive discipline. Most importantly, he/she will have a proven track record of mentorship and team building. Assist with production goals and communicate the goals to the production staff
Check production output according to specifications
Work on continuous improvement and efficiency of each operation
The position is very hands-on and supervisors are usually on the plant floor about 100% of the shift
Ability to directly supervise 40+ employees in the manufacturing department
5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting required
~ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
~ Food safety training will be provided and is not required for employment
~ English-Spanish bilingual preferred
Normal work week is Monday – Friday
