    Job DescriptionSalary:

    Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation, a Missouri Community Action Agency, is seeking a Training and Recruitment Specialist. The Training and Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for agency-wide training and recruitment and act as an integral member of the Human Resource Department.

    Additional Duties:

    • Recruitment of new staff, including collaborating with department unit leaders to determine specific program hiring needs;
    • Collaborating with the Strategic Communications Specialist regarding social media and website updates and advertising of vacancies;
    • Manage employment website and third party vendor accounts;
    • Responsible for conducting new hire orientation of new employees;
    • Coordinate recruitment and training efforts with the HR Assistant and Children's Services Department Training and Technical Assistance Specialist;
    • Identify and attend local job fairs as a positive representative of the agency.
    • Identify and plan agency training needs;
    • Attend appropriate train-the-trainer sessions based on identified needs of the agency.
    • Prepare and manage an annual training calendar for the agency; and
    • Assist HR department in special projects and events while working well as a team member.


    Education and Experience:
    B.S. in Human Resources/Business or related field and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
