    Hillandale Farms is in search of a Quality Control to join our team in Hillandale Farms, Bozrah CT

    What will you be doing?

    • Monitors date stamping quality and accuracy on packing lines by checking egg and stamp quality. Ensure product meets expectations based on company objectives.
    • Monitor and inspect crack packer for percentage of cracked eggs produced.
    • Visually inspect in various locations of the cooler more than 20 cases per day.
    • Take daily samples of eggs off lubing, sample medium egg weights daily for compliance.
    • Assist Processing Workers with reworking retained product as needed
    • Maintain clear communication with Quality Control Specialist and seek guidance from them as needed.
    • Assist Quality Control Specialist in audit preparations, employee New Hire Orientation SQF (Safe Quality Food) training and other tasks as needed.
    • Assist in training of all plant personnel regarding good housekeeping, manufacturing procedures, GMP, HACCP, allergen control, proper sanitation and product handling. Work closely with Plant Managers and plant personnel to prevent & resolve quality problems.
    • Maintain all reports/documents as needed.
    • Other job related duties determined by Senior Management.
