    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team at Van Subaru as a Subaru Product Specialist.

    This is a full-time, individual contributor role that will have a strong focus on sales in the auto industry.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and appreciation for the Subaru brand and will be responsible for promoting and selling Subaru vehicles to customers in the Kansas City, Missouri area.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This is a salaried position and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities:


    As a Subaru Product Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.


    More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Greeting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
    • Conducting vehicle walkarounds and test drives with customers
    • Educating customers on the features and benefits of Subaru vehicles
    • Building and maintaining relationships with customers to foster repeat business
    • Managing and updating customer information in the dealership's CRM system
    • Working collaboratively with the sales, finance, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
    • Keeping uptodate with product knowledge, features, and options for all Subaru models
    • Participating in vehicle training programs and staying current with industry trends and developments
    • Attending sales meetings and conferences as required
    • Assisting with vehicle inventory management and display

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in sales or a related field is an asset
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the auto industry
    • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
    • Proficiency with technology and CRM systems
    • Dedication to continuously learning and improving sales techniques
    • Passion for the Subaru brand and its products
