Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, night shift availability, and AHA-certified credentials.

Responsibilities
Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment

Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30

13-week contract
Every 3rd weekend required
Every other holiday (EOH) coverage required
Floating may be required within skill set, including to sites within 40 miles
Epic EMR in use
Provide emergency nursing care across a broad ED patient population
Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
Nursys verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
Any disciplinary actions on licensure require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire

Requirements
Active WI or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required

Current AHA certifications required:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS
TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
MOAB or CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training required (8-hour course, updated every 2 years)
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
Two professional references required
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
