    Overview:

    The Logistics Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting for global transportation financials, operational metrics, and market analysis. They will gather, analyze, and report on transportation related data for GHG emission calculation, compliance, and benchmarking activities. They will also be responsible for supporting the organization in complying with Hazmat related domestic and global transportation regulations.

    Specifically, the Inbound Transportation Analyst will:

    • Prepare and validate reports and period-end financial accruals.
    • Participate in analytical studies/consulting projects, as assigned.
    • Collaborate with other departments and senior management to share information, problem-solve, and to clarify management objectives.
    • Assist in development of new reporting tools, processes, and procedures to deliver value-added analytical services.
    • Work with external Hazmat consultants and SMEs to ensure compliance with domestic and global transportation regulations.
    • Provide Hazmat shipping guidance to engineering, product development and marketing teams.
    • Manage databases of transportation related Hazmat documentation and certifications.
    • Maintenance of record-keeping for Hazmat certified employees in our distribution centers.
    • Work with external auditing organizations to ensure all SharkNinja products are registered.
    • Compiling and reporting sales related data to internal stakeholders and external recycling regulatory organizations.
    • Work with external systems developers to create a customized container tracking app.
    • Tracking and querying transportation related data from various systems for GHG emissions calculations.
    • Learn various systems and technology related to the tracking of containers, optimize loading configurations, and visual analytics for various metrics and KPIs.
    • Create purchase orders in our payment system for a variety of rendered services.
    • Analyze carrier contract data and report to external partners for benchmarking analyses.
    • Analyze and report cost savings for container forecasted costs vs actual container costs.
    • Analyze and report actual container quantities shipped vs. forecasted container shipments.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors Degree required: degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, Operations, or Analytics is preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, accounting required.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, customer focused.
    • Must be able to interpret data into meaningful solutions.
    • Demonstrate a keen attention to detail, be able to communicate across cross-functional teams and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Must be able to use excel pivot tables.
    • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance KPIs.
    • Experience with Coupa PO management and financial software is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to influence others and able to communicate with senior management leadership in a professional manner.
