Job Description

As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
• Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
• Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and quantities needed for projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Estimate materials, time, and costs required for plumbing projects
• Provide field service for emergency repairs or maintenance requests
• Weld or solder pipes as needed
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks or other issues
• Perform general maintenance person tasks related to plumbing repairs Skills:
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Ability to assemble and install plumbing systems accurately
• Proficiency in basic math calculations for measurements and quantities
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques
• Field service experience in plumbing or related field is preferred
• Ability to weld or solder pipes is a plus
