    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in a full-time, remote position. This role is responsible for protecting our computer systems and networks from information breaches and threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various security protocols and systems, and experience in managing security measures to protect sensitive information.

    Responsibilities:

    Monitor our networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.

    Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information.

    Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.

    Develop security standards and best practices for the organization.

    Recommend security enhancements to management or senior IT staff.

    Help computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and procedures.

    Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.

    Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.

    Respond to security breaches and provide post-event analyses.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

    Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or similar role.

    Knowledge of potential attack vectors such as malware, phishing, and social engineering.

    Knowledge of encryption, firewalls, and other countermeasure techniques and systems.

    Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27002, NIST, HIPAA, SOX) and risk management methodologies.

    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures.

    Strong attention to detail and excellent diagnostic skills.
