    The Afloat Submarine C4I IPT Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Multi-purpose Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) team is seeking an Engineer, Cybersecurity II in Charleston, SC.

    Afloat Submarine C4I IPT Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Multi-purpose Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) is the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Program Executive Office (PEO) C4I model to provide seamless, end-to-end communications training supporting the Sailor 2025, Ready Relevant Learning initiative.

    Providing system of systems training of this caliber to others in the DoD C4I community is a command goal both now and for the future.


    Duties include:

    • Perform tasks to ensure Navy applications, systems, and networks satisfy Federal/DoD/DON/Navy cybersecurity

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree - Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science
    • Certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M
    • Three (3) years of experience:
    • Preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
    • Planning, implementing, upgrading, and/or monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
    • Assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
    * ensuring appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure

    • Responding to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
    • Secret Clearance
