Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I for a very important client.
Intern Opportunity:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
Potential Projects and Experiences:
Equipment Experience and Hands On
Engage in routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) and perform repairs on advanced, highly automated equipment.
Conduct failure finding on assigned equipment and learn PdM tools (ultrasound and thermography)
Continuous Improvement Engagement
Assigned to one of more PMs to lead PM Optimization kaizens
Assigned to one or more Equipment Reliability gembas
Execute on improvement opporutnities identified
System exposure and learning
Investigate and improve our materials management system (data cleansing, consolidation, physical audit for accuracy)
Contribute to data readiness for new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
