BBSI's client is looking for an EXPERIENCED LAB TECHNICIAN with proven reliability to test, document, and oversee all processes in tank titration and additions in a MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
Temp- To- Hire Position; Benefits to apply once hired by the companyLocation:
Los Angeles
Pay Range:
Starting at $22-$24/ hour
Schedule:
5:00am- 1:30pm
Monday- Friday, Some Saturdays, Occasional Sunday start ups
Qualifications:
5 years experience of lab work experience, including use of PH meters and titration tools
Emergency Response and Hazmat Training
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. (i.e. will carry product containing dyes and chemicals)
Ability to work around production
Strong communication
Maintain a safe and professional environment
Duties:
Must have a complete understanding of processes and tank configurations.
To be responsible to maintain the chemical and dye tanks to the required spec.
Must know how to operate instrumentation transmitters.
To perform Ph testing on the required tanks. Know how to operate ph, orp and conductivity meters.
To make additions and adjustments as required.
To verify concentrations as required.
To dump, clean and set up new tank solutions.
To record all readings and test results in appropriate logs.
To test for conductivity of solutions.
Ensure that daily titration records are maintained and are accurate.
Insure a safe and clean work environment.
