    We currently have an opportunity for a per-diem Alternate Director of Nursing in our West Palm Beach territory.

    The Alternate DON is responsible for overseeing client services and developing relationships with clients and caregivers alike. Develops a plan of care for assigned cases, starts cases, and is the point person to families and caregivers. Communicates regularly with other team members to ensure client satisfaction and safe practices.

    Responsibilities:


    • Supervises all nursing and paraprofessional personnel in the delivery of services to clients and families


    • Extensively interacts with clients and families monitoring and ensuring the quality of services provided


    • Visits clients at least twice a month, more often if indicated.


    • Communicates all issues via email to leadership Team at all times


    • Assesses appropriate staff supervision during all service hours


    • Consults with physicians in matters relating to client care services


    • Proactively seeks way to improve client satisfaction


    • Introduces caregiver at start of case, writes a plan of care, delivers necessary supplies


    • Participates in staff selection and orientation program


    • Shares off hours on-call rotation


    • Other duties as directed by Administrator

    The successful candidate will have:

    · Valid Registered Nurse licensed in FL; a Bachelor's degree is preferred

    · Must have two years of nursing experience, one of which has preferably been community/home health experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience as a RN

    · Current CPR certification

    · Must have a criminal history background check

    · 10 years of full time clinical experience in nursing
