    Cetera is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to manage the Microsoft 365 infrastructure for Cetera's Remote Administration firms. The Remote Administration program is a service offered to the independent businesses leveraging Cetera as their broker dealer and offers full-service managed IT. This role will manage all aspects of Microsoft 365 and surrounding infrastructure, escalated troubleshooting in partnership with the IT Operations team, and ongoing improvements to the Microsoft 365 platform.

    What you will do:
    • Escalated Microsoft 365 and Messaging Support: Provide expertise and advanced troubleshooting for issues escalated from our Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
    • Microsoft 365 Ongoing Improvements: Improve and deploy features within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and surrounding tools including:
      • Exchange Online
      • Microsoft Teams
      • Azure Active Directory
      • OneDrive for Business
      • SharePoint Online
      • Intune
      • Proofpoint
    • Tenant Setup and Onboarding: Lead configuration of new E5 tenant that will be used to expand the RA Program to new independent Advisor Firms.
    • Tenant Segmentation: Lead project to segment existing 26-firm, 2000 user tenant using administrative units, scope tags, groups, address lists, and other security tools available from Microsoft.
    • Multi-Tenant Management: Manage multiple Microsoft 365 tenants and streamline multi-tenant management leveling both tools in the Microsoft 365 stack and recommending third party tools to be implemented as needed.
    • Documentation and Process Development: Create and maintain knowledgebase and process documentation for Microsoft 365 and processes owned by this role. Follow best practice processes including change management.
    What you need to have (Basic Qualifications):
    • 5+ years of overall Information Technology experience
    • 3+ years of Microsoft 365 tenant administration including hands-on tenant setup experience
    • 2+ years of Scripting (PowerShell) experience
    • Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert certification
