Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructureUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developersWorking on ways to automate and improve development and release processesTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsEnsuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsIdentifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intendedPlanning out projects and being involved in project management decisionsPreferred experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceExperience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roleProficient with git and git workflowsWorking knowledge of databases and SQLProblem-solving attitudeCollaborative team spiritWhy Cognizant?
