On-site at any of our branch locations in WI - Wausau, Milwaukee, Madison, Rhinelander. Must be willing to travel throughout the WI branch footprint.

HOURS:
Monday through Friday 8-5 PM

WHAT DOES A VICE PRESIDENT - RETAIL SALES MANAGER DO?

At Peoples State Bank, as a Vice President - Retail Sales Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing retail team leaders, branch managers and their teams to ensure top-notch performance and business growth.

By fostering strong connections with colleagues across different departments within Retail Banking, including Sales Effectiveness, Branch Administration, Deposit Operations, Deposit Pricing and Marketing, you'll have the chance to lead with finesse and drive continuous improvement.

Your knack for effective execution and teamwork will be the cornerstone of our success as we strive to enhance our services and offerings daily.

To excel as a Retail Sales Manager at Peoples State Bank, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience along with 5+ years in business development and retail leadership, ideally overseeing 5-7 banking branches.

Your track record of achieving high sales performance and meeting financial targets consistently is crucial.

The role requires expertise in managing, coaching, and leading professionals, coupled with a deep understanding of banking products, services, and regulations.

Your prowess in strategic thinking, effective communication, and organization will be key in driving success in a fast-paced business environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and a willingness to travel regularly round out the essential skills needed for this pivotal position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience required.

5+ years of business development and retail leadership experience, preferably leading a minimum of 5-7 retail banking branches.

3+ years of high sales performance.

Proven, consistent achievement of business growth goals and financial targets required.

Experience managing, leading, and coaching professionals required.

Comprehensive knowledge of bank products/services and regulations preferred.

NMLS eligibility required; NMLS license preferred (required for lending activities).

Ability to think strategically and translate goals into actionable, detailed, day-to-day execution.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office products.

Must be willing to travel on a regular basis.
