Position Title: Lead Android Developer

Experience Level: 15+ Years

Job Summary: As a Lead Android Developer with extensive experience in Android development, you will oversee the creation, improvement, and upkeep of Android applications. Leading a team, you will ensure the delivery of top-notch and scalable mobile solutions. This position demands in-depth knowledge of Android architecture, exceptional leadership qualities, and a dedication to guiding and nurturing a development team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and oversee a group of Android developers.
- Promote a cooperative and inventive development atmosphere.
- Regularly conduct code evaluations and offer valuable feedback.
Project Management:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of Android app creation from inception to deployment.
- Collaborate with different teams like Product Management, Design, and QA.
- Ensure projects are finished on time, meeting requirements and standards.
Technical Expertise:
- Architect and design intricate Android apps.
- Keep abreast of the latest Android technologies and trends.
- Implement coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
Strategy and Planning:
- Outline the technical direction for Android development.
- Contribute to the mobile strategy and product plan.
- Identify and assess new tools and technologies for enhanced development efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all Android apps meet high standards of quality and performance.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, and documentation practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to grasp requirements and offer solutions.
- Present technical concepts and progress to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

Experience: Over 15 years of software development experience with a focus on Android for at least 10 years.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
- Thorough understanding of Android SDK, various Android versions, and handling diverse screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Solid grasp of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with continuous integration and version control systems like Git.
Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership managing development teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Capability to mentor and nurture junior team members.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
Understanding of backend technologies and services.
Experience in the full Android app development lifecycle, including Google Play Store release.
Prior experience in a lead or architect role in large projects.
