- Conduct comprehensive research on new RF technologies and systems
- Lead planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of Rapid Assessments, Test Events and Demonstration Events.
- Analyze sensor and effector technologies related to Counter UAS platforms and advise Government Program Manager.
- Devise, support, and implement evaluation strategies to support programmatic execution for fielding of emerging systems
- Plan, coordinate, and support test range activities, including the maintenance and operation of necessary test equipment
- Recommend and develop test equipment capabilities, as required.
- Develop calibration procedures, testing procedures, and test plans to characterize C-UAS performance across multiple sensor modalities and environments, including visible, infrared, radar, acoustic, and radio frequency.
- Develop Test Reports including the processing of data including thermal/radar analysis, radio frequency spectrum analysis, location accuracy, acoustic profiling and system integration/processing capabilities.
- Process raw data into finished analyses and conclude if equipment meets or does not meet requirements.
- Support the program office personnel with developing and updating requirement, evaluation, and other frameworks.
- Assist in other areas such as Smart City technologies.
- Provide input for required acquisition documentation.
- Support Government Program Manager events
- Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance with the US Government.
- Bachelor of Science in any of the following fields: Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years Department of Defense experience working with related hardware systems.
- Knowledge and experience with DOD Acquisition and Test and Evaluation practices.
- Knowledge of evaluating Smart City technical operations.
- Proficient understanding of sensor capabilities, functionalities, and operations
- Experience developing and tailoring system engineering processes based on cost, schedule, and risk tolerance.
- Proficient understanding of using engineering tools to document and manage project requirements.
- Translate requirements across a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven ability to work within tight timelines with high-quality output.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Proven record in problem-solving, decision making, financial management, logistics management, program analysis responsibilities.
- Superior writing and briefing skills.
