    Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college.     Job Description:


    Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty/Mixed Reality to teach non-credit game design and augmented and virtual reality design. The course will enable students to design, build, and code their own immersive experiences. Students will use programs such as Blender for modeling, Unity 3D, and C+.



    Requirements:


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Proficiency in programming and game design experience is required.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree or industry experience is preferred.



    Additional Information:


    POSITION EFFECTIVE: The position will remain open until filled.


    WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule will vary depending on needs of the college course schedule.


    HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $55.61 per hour. No benefits.
