    C# Developer at SMX in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description C# Developer (2983)at SMX (United States SMX is looking for a C# Developer to support a client organization which provides system production support services.

    The successful candidate would join a team in providing outstanding critical application services to a community in need. The successful candidate will support the existing business operations technical systems as well as enrich current capabilities. This position is a remote position with periodic travel to Massachusetts dependent. Must be willing to work EST time zone hours.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    + Develop system and sub-system level requirements and specifications + Define and/or revise system architecture, as required + Write software in Microsoft .

    NET, and C# to create and modify the GUI for new and existing systems + Conduct technical design reviews and secure consensus from partners and subject matter experts + Resolve system and subsystem issues and work with various partners to find and implement solutions Required Skills/Experience:
    + A solid understanding and demonstrated track record in the practice of software engineering and fundamentals, including architecture and testing. + Microsoft .NET languages including C#. + C++ programming. + Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. + Source code control systems such as git. + Alignment to software design and coding standards. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Ability to communicate effectively with peers, interdisciplinary engineering groups, customers, and suppliers. Ability to give effective technical presentations up to the PLC level. + Dedicated individual with keen technical ability, systematic approach, and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidate should have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and be a strong teammate. + Expertise in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.


    Desired Skills/Experience:
