    Job DescriptionThe Dispatch Supervisor will demonstrate commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives by supervising and developing the Order Takers/Support Center.

    Ensuring proper dispatching and scheduling in a timely and effective manner.

    Performing multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness, while exhibiting a high level of diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion when dealing with customers, vendors, management, team members, and external partners.

    Manage and develop a large team of Order Takers/Support Center team membersMonitor that the customers are being connected with the dispatcher in a timely and professional mannerEnsure that all scheduling is being completed and adjusted as requiredProvide the highest level of customer service and satisfactionOversee order status, delivery arrangements, and servicesUtilize the dispatch system to monitor drivers throughout the dayCreate the next-day driver schedule to ensure customer needs are metConduct job service checks for jobs that have been out for 30 days or moreComplete a "final edit" of each job ensuring the ticket has all the required information for billing Interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of employees, management, vendors, customers, and external partnersBuild relationships with City Municipalities to ensure project efficiency, and qualityEnsure that the team has all necessary equipmentConduct Safety meetings and Approve PayrollPerform other functions as necessary or as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED completion3-5 years in supervising and dispatch experienceMust have open availability - hours may vary based off work loadStrong leadership skills to ensure Order Takers and Drivers' compliance with direction and assignmentsBasic understanding of the geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routingProficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and record-keeping systemsAbility to work independently with little instruction and adapt to change at a fast pace and under pressureHigh integrity and a strong work ethicAbility to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsivenessHigh degree of energy, self-motivation, and flexibility Proven ability to work collaboratively with othersExcellent communication and time management skillsStrong work ethic with a professional, positive attitudeBilingual is a plus but not requiredAdditional InformationBenefits eligible 1st of the month following hireAll traditional benefits offered, including 3 medical plan options and 2 dental plan options, as well as additional benefits such as Legal and Identity Shield, Accident, and Critical IllnessCompany paid 50k in basic life insuranceCompany paid LTDHealth Savings and Flex Spending Accounts Available401(k)
