The Lean Process Engineer will play a crucial role in our local business, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing and distribution facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Focus Area:
Implement lean manufacturing principles for process optimization and efficiency.

Focus Area:
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, customer service, production, distribution, and supply chain for improvement opportunities.

Focus Area:
Utilize tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Process Flow Maps, PDCA, and Six Sigma for continuous improvement.

Focus Area:

Work with management to develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals, contributing to key performance indicators like On-Time Delivery and Cost of Poor Quality.

Safety First:

Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or a related field, or equivalent working experience (minimum 4-year degree preferred).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement concepts.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Process Flow Maps, PDCA. Knowledge and familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
