**Job Summary**
A Team leader is responsible to facilitate the operations, decisions, and actions within a manufacturing team. The Team Leader provides guidance and direction while acting as a mentor to team members. The focus of this position centers on customer satisfaction, teamwork, individual and team motivation, workload management, training, and overall process quality.
**Job Responsibilities**
Facilitating operations, decisions and actions within manufacturing unit
Guiding, directing, mentoring, and motivating team members
The ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Specific area process knowledge is necessary in order to help understand product and process requirements
Perform various functions manufacturing within the team unit as needed
**Knowledge/Skills/Experience**
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong group and team-building skills
**Education/Certification**
High School Diploma or GED required
Five years experience in a directly related industry or manufacturing process is required
